"In Gregorian chant, the text supplies man with the food necessary for his mind; the music provides him with the substance which his heart needs. Thus both contribute to the complete fulfillment of the human being in his relationship with God."
-- Auguste Le Guennant

Membership
New schola members are always welcome! The music is challenging; however, we do everything we can to train a willing and devoted heart. If you are interested in joining or want more information, please contact us using the form below. |
Rehearsals
We rehearse on Wednesday nights in the choir loft from 6:30-8:00 pm; and on Sundays in the choir room from 11:30-11:55 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in downtown Knoxville. Our Mass time is at noon on Sundays.
PRACTICE NOTE
We are now permitted to have a small choir sing from the choir loft. I cannot generally invite everyone back at this time. Please feel free to sing the Ordinary from pews. Keep praying that Almighty God will remove this pest from us, or, if not, to use it to form us into saints.
